As President and CEO, David manages with a hands-on approach to make sure everything is handled smoothly.
Before D &R, David completed a four-year journeyman machinist apprenticeship and moved to St. Louis to be a machine shop superintendent. In 1997, David served as the lead-man as a set-up machinist in a machining shop before founding D & R Machine Co., Inc.
With machining experience since 1989, David will surely solve any and every need clients have.

René Gotter
Vice President
As the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, René handles all the ins-and-outs of D & R Machine Co. One of her largest responsibilities is finding equipment for the shop. René researches parts and negotiates the best price for the company and clients.

Chase’s fun-loving, ball-catching, playful attitude keeps a smile on everybody’s face.

Nathan Hicks
Engineer
Nathan has more than two years of experience with D & R. His main duties involve being a CAD technician, but he has his fair share of estimating and bidding for clients. He received his Associate’s Degree from Lewis & Clark Community College in drafting and is in the process of finishing his Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering at Southern University of Illinois-Edwardsville.

Bianca’s goal of the day is to find the best, so in turn; D & R can offer the fairest price to their customers. Besides purchasing, Bianca keeps track of the entire stock of inventory.

Lee graduated from Eastern Illinois in 1980 with a degree in business and the motivation to be a successful human resources manager. As an American Association of Staffing certified personal consultant, Lee has many years of human resources experience. D & R relies on Lee to make major staffing decisions and works closely with David and René to make hiring decisions. Lee also assists with benefit plans and other administration duties.

With more than 28 years of machining experience under his belt, Alton Machine Works is in good hands with Jeff in charge. Jeff manages the employees, their schedules and the project lists. Aside from constantly communicating with Office Manager, Debbie to make sure everything is running smoothly, Jeff also handles customer inquires.
